Licor

Coco Licor is a delicious blend of coconut water, spirits and spice aged inside of a real coconut. Our coconuts are sustainably harvested by the Miskito and Rama people from plantations along the beaches of the Caribbean coast of Nicaragua. Positioned as a natural replacement for coconut flavored rums and coconut liqueurs, Coco Licor uses real coconuts, coconut water and aging in order to achieve its natural coconut flavor. To do so we’ve created a technique to extend the life of a mature coconut allowing our recipe enough time to macerate inside of the coconut. Coco Licor automatically stands out in every setting. It is minimally yet colorfully packaged in order to show off as much of the coconut as possible.

1

Coconut Liqueur

At first glance you notice that Coco Licor doesn’t have a bottle, instead we chose to house it inside of a real coconut. We gladly accept the curb appeal this gives us on the shelf however this decision wasn’t made for the purpose of novelty. Our waxing technique converts each coconut into a self-contained aging barrel, we then use a clean spirit and some spice to tease out the coconut flavor from the flesh and then age the liqueur and coconut water together. The result is a real coconut taste served in a real coconut.

Nueva Guinea

Coco Licor is produced with coconuts harvested from plantations along the Caribbean coast of Nicaragua. These coconuts are then brought to the processing facility in Nueva Guinea, Nicaragua. Our coconuts are harvested from plantations along the South Caribbean coast. • With a combination of boats, barges and trucks, the coconuts are then brought to the central processing facility. • At this facility the coconuts are sorted, cleaned, shaved, waxed, drilled, filled, corked and then aged.
